This was a part of a series of comics I did in the ’90s called “Crystal Apparitions”. I pulled out this one because as I was going over some old stuff I kind of missed this character.
His name is Graylin Lacour. It was one of the few times I met somebody and then stole their name for a character. What a great name, huh? I’d actually print up useless business cards if I had such a cool name.
At the time, Graylin was an aging Baby Boomer/hippie that represented many people I knew. He didn’t appear in too many strips.
When was the last time he gave that crystal ball a tune-up?
